For years we've repeatedly mentioned that if there's a fete in Edmonton (especially during Cariwest) you should get in your car and drive the 2hrs to experience it.
Earlier this week, Soca star Lyrikal was interviewed on Trinidad's 96.1 WE fm and asked if there were any places he had performed where he was surprised by the response. Without hesitation Lyrikal mentioned his performance at Edmonton's Cariwest festival in August.
The CalgarySoca crew is happy to have been a part of that presentation alongside DJ Soca Sweetness and, the man behind the event, Evan Rutherford of ETR Events.
