If you are a Soca Fan then you really should have been at the Carifest afterparty at Theatre Lounge on Saturday Jun. 11th. Doors opened at 9, Soca Legend, Crazy came on stage at 11 for a solid hour of hits to engage the crowd then handed the party duties to "Canada's best Soca DJ" Soca Sweetness who had the room absolutely electric right up until the lights came on well after 2am!
Calgary Soca is a bit biased in doing a review on this one as some of our staff were involved in promoting the event, so we'll just have to let the footage and pics speak for themselves. Check out the rest of the photos HERE.
With at least two generations of Calgary Soca lovers in the party jammin all night, lets hope we can see an event like this one happen again soon.
